For Enable Or Disable USB Ports

Well it is not foolproof but there is another trick from which you can easily disable USB devices.
Procedure:


  1. Start >> Run >> Regedit
  2. Follow The Path Given Below:
  3. For Disable USB
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR
  4. In the right pane, double-click Start
  5. In the Value data box, type 4,and then click OK
  6. For Enable USB
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR
  7. In the right pane, double-click Start
  8. In the Value data box, type 3,and then click OK
  9. Set >> Start=3

Btw, I have got one problem in my pen drive..its not getting formated..it says access denied..when i scanned it with avast, it said it has trojan horse..but it wasnt able to resolve it..n furthar scan dint show ny result..i tried to format it with cmd prompt..but it dint work out..can you please help me out..thank you...
